I graduated with honours, from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Toronto. I have been interested in manual therapy for many years and have completed training in both Canada and New Zealand.
I first discovered Matrix Repatterning while searching for an alternative solution to a personal ailment I had in 2003. I immediately became intrigued with the process and the results. In 2009 I decided to change careers and began training as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). In 2013, I continued my studies upon completion of RMT, to become certified as a Matrix Repatterning Practitioner (CMRP). In my initial years of practice, I shadowed Dr. George B. Roth, who is recognized for developing, teaching and practicing Matrix Repatterning. I now assist Dr. Roth with his teaching. Today, you will find me praciticing as a Certified Matrix Repatterning Practitioner and Massage Therapist in Newmarket Ontario.
I thoroughly enjoy utilizing my acquired knowledge and skills to unravel the complexities of my client's health concerns. I strive to provide solutions that achieve results for my clients. I am continually exploring learning opportunities in order to continue developing my skills and knowledge. In 2018 I became certified as a Functional Nutrition Coach (CFNC).
Functional Nutrition is a fascinating field of evolving information. It looks at each person as a unique biochemical individual requiring an individualized plan to reset their course towards good health. A thorough intake initiates the discovery of clues that starts the journey towards a healthy body. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with my clients, both nutritionally and structurally.
On top of always learning more about alternative health, I love spending time adventuring with my husband and when they're available, my three lovely, adult children. I'm always seeking a river to kayak or a trail to hike, slowly picking away at my massive pile of books, and dabbling at trying to grow carrots, garlic and other gems in my gardens - exploring new foods and flavors is always at the top of my list.
